"This was a great save since we had problems with our original accommodations and booked this place frantically and honestly - we are so happy we landed here! Everyone was super friendly and accommodating, and the facilities were clean and in an optimal location. "The place is a little sketchy but worked for a one night stay pinch. I like a firm bed…… this bed was like concrete! Don’t try to use the bathroom for real because you can’t flush the paper. Although if you’re looking for a super cheap getaway, I’d still look elsewhere UNLESS they change their beds. You can always walk to the mall to use those bathrooms so you can actually flush. Room 2 star Team 4 star"

"Great staff, nice rooms, three pools plus a beach. Never hard to find a chair. Restaurants were good, Buffett and seafood resterants the best. I am vegetarian and never found it hard to find salads or veg dishes. Entertainment was okay. They had a snorkel tour that left right from the hotel and you can rent a car right from the hotel as well. This was amazing value. "

"We chose this mainly for location and great value. All inclusive part was nice to have even though we go a lot into the city to enjoy great local restaurants. We had plenty of parking for our rental and the restaurants in the resort had pretty good food whenever we were too tired from snorkeling all day and decided to eat at the resort. Nice coffee shop onsite as well."

"I filed several complaints on the app and no one ever reached out. The seafood restaurant was the worst we spent an hour before we got part of our food no one came to get our order until my husband had to talk to someone. We got up and got our own silverware several time. We rented a car and ate out most of the time. This hotel is not for someone with a special occasion this is more of you want just a place to sleep. Service is almost non existent. Grand Park Cancun is by far better. "

"I stayed here on a solo vacation last week. It was a great place, walkable to all the fun things in playa. The staff was amazing, the place was clean, and the room itself was great I would say the beach in that area of Playa del Carmen was not really swimable due to the rocks and boats. However the beaches near by offered more swim able areas. I’d totally stay here again. "

"The hotel rooms are clean , average accommodation , the pool is nothing special but we didn’t go to swim in the pool we went for the beach and it’s right out our room and awesome . Service was great at the beach club and hotel ,The hotel is close to everything you need . If your looking for good place to hangout at the beach this is it. I would use this hotel again . "

"Once we arrived at the airport. There was someone there from the hotel waiting. The check in process was seemless. The staff there was super friendly. The place was amazing and has so many delicious food options. I will definitely be going back and I created so many great memories here "

El Cozumeleño Beach Resort - All Inclusive

"We’ve stayed at a few all inclusive resorts at various beach destinations and they are not my favorite. We don’t like to indulge heavily in alcohol and so many all inclusives attract those who want to take advantage to the max throughout their holiday that it often ruins our enjoyment. The two travel styles are just very different ways of vacationing. So at El Cozumeleño there were the indulgers but the rooms somehow really blocked the noise coming from the bar and it shut down early enough. The last two days of our trip there were guest who brought a speaker and basically dominated the sitting/snacking area by the beach. Annoying The staff were all very good at their jobs and friendly. We would like to name those following who took very good care of us: Eyahir Amanda Angelica Enrique Pedro Germaine Adrian And many more. Sorry I couldn’t remember all your names. We did have an unpleasant miscommunication with a surly frown faced Omar when we were checking in that unfortunately deflated our excitement when we arrived. However, it was soon resolved - though I never really understood what happened. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. The beach is fantastic and we loved snorkeling every day just from the hotel. The food was good though repetitive but that was easily remedied by a few meals out. Buccanos is in walking distance and is a beautiful spot to eat and have a change of scenery. Thanks to all the friendly faces who welcomed us. You are very much appreciated. "
