"Very nice property in a great central location near the beach, dining, and shopping"

"The property was nice. The rooftop pool was cold but the view was nice. Plenty of seating even has a double rooftop to view the skyline higher. The two bedrooms with two bathrooms and washer/dryer is a wonderful feature. My room had a wrap around terrace as well. I appreciate them accommodating the kitchen with extra utensils as I hired a private chef during my stay. I would for sure stay here again. "

"My husband and I just spent 3 nights at Playa Maya. We got to the hotel a little late, but was greeted by Marvin (I believe he's night time security) who helped us to our room. The hotel doesn't have a street entrance so you must walk through the beach, which was fine, we're at the beach anyway! They provide fresh water for the rooms and ours was cleaned nicely everyday. We have nothing but good things to say about this property. Our favorite person was Marvin. He carried great conversations...

Property Manager Leonardo spoke perfect English and was very friendly and helpful. Apt needs some updating but it was perfect for my sister and me. Please note that the kitchen is lacking a lot of items, ie. bowls for cereal or salad, salad/mixing bowls, can opener, toaster, food storage containers for leftovers . "Decent for a quick stay"

"We received an email from them as we landed at the Cancun airport to indicate our room wasn’t available, the replacement accommodations they offered looked in no way comparable. At least they quickly refunded our money but we were left to scramble to find another hotel during the cab ride from Cancun to Playacar. We’ve never had anything like this happen before!"
