"This resort was perfect for our family getaway, friendly staff, good food and drinks Lovely pool. We appreciated that this is one of the few resorts that still has the original vibe and not been torn down to build another fancy pretentious resort, prime real estate on the beach. "

"We really enjoyed the breakfast included with the room. It had nice traditional Mexican options as well as pancakes etc. We were a bit dissatisfied that there was nothing in the kitchenette to cook or eat with. Seemed pointless to have paid extra for the kitchenette if we could not even use it but there were many dining options nearby. The pool was also being redone when we were there and we weren't made aware of this at the time of booking and was one main reason for us booking there but I think that's not the fault of the hotel to tell us as we had booked through Expedia. Plus side is that they will now have a beautiful new pool. So if travelling soon call ahead to make sure it's completed if you want a pool. We would definitely stay here again. We chose this location/hotel for the secure parking and easy to find from the airport after dark. Staying downtown the parking can be more challenging and the streets a bit more confusing after dark. "
