"This property was everything we had expected. We knew it was an older Mexican hotel and that is exactly what we were looking for when we booked. It was very quiet except at night as we had read in reviews you could hear the bars down the hill but this did not affect us. We still slept with the patio doors open. "This is an excellent location. Wonderfully close to the Malecón and the Zona Romántica. The rooms are a little dated but always kept clean. We loved being able to cook and reheat food. The staff are friendly and accommodating. We would happily stay here again. Downside: bed is extremely firm! If you like sleeping on rock then you will be comfortable. We brought inflatable sleeping pads and that helped a lot. "

"I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, even the whales were cooperating, frolicking in the bay while the guests oohed and aahed from the rooftop pool. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and the sea was right outside the front door. I can’t recommend this place too highly."
