"From the moment we were greeted at the door we felt at home. Lovely, lovely small hotel with interesting history. Every person working here was so pleasant and accommodating. The mgr. has some very sweet , small rescue pups she brings to work and they were a pleasure. We were greeted each morning by Luis who took the time to talk with us and remembered how we liked our morning coffee and he just made us feel so welcome each time we saw him. I highly recommend this lovely hotel. If you do t stay here you should save a night to enjoy dinner in their rooftop restaurant for delicious food, fine service, amazing sunset and live music."

"Fabulous to be right on the beach and slightly outside of the touristy malecon. Beds were comfy ,restaraunt staff was great. Breakfast that was included was a waste of time. Loved spending time with my daughter here!!!"

"Awesome staff! Make sure to get a room facing the street and not the building next door, otherwise it’s a really depressing stay. But the rooms facing the street or with a balcony are gorgeous! You’re right in the middle of the city, right next to everything. "

"This hotel was beautiful. A previous house converted into a 14-16 room, boutique hotel in the middle of Centro. Our room was the Eclipse 4, which had a king size bed, two small tables, a sofa, and a decent size bathroom. We would walk up a flight of stairs to get to the common area for breakfast and every night, we would walk the two flights of stairs to the beautiful roof top pool and patio. The views from hear are just stunning. My only complaint... and it's not really a complaint because it's part of its charm... is that the hotel is not as soundproof as your regular hotel. It is somewhat open air and you are in the middle of Centro. Puerto Vallarta is in a constant state of construction and on the weekdays, the noise from that filters in quite easily. We've recommended this hotel to anyone we've talked to about our trip. Just remember to bring your walking shoes and be prepared to climb a lot of stairs leading upto the hotel!!"
