"A very nice stay. Though the rooms are above a pub, it was a quiet sleep. No on-site parking, but right across the street there is a municipal parking garage which wasn't too expensive. The Cathedral is a very short walk. The inn provided a nice continental breakfast. The pub scene was quite nice...the locals were friendly and welcomed this American."

"This is not a hotel so do not expect any bar or restaurant to be available, it is a more personal service and better for it. We prebooked a continental breakfast which was very nice but fresh baked pastries would have been preferable to the prepacked versions. There is a lot of care and love put into this place and the staff were very welcoming and helpful to make sure we had the best experience. Our room was spotless and beautifully decorated and extra milk, pillows etc happily provided....

"Bank Cottage was a great spot for our family to stay the weekend. We loved the spot on the river and the garden was safe for our little ones. We didn’t have to worry about anyone falling in the Severn! The cooking and dining facilities were fine and we enjoyed the sitting area overlooking the patio. The sitting room at the back of the property was rather dark and we didn’t use it but I can imagine it being a cosy space in winter. As mentioned by a previous guest there was a smell of oil/fuel...

"Situated right on a busy road with little parking, especially for a large vehicle. No place in the bedrooms to put suitcases and had to climb a spiral staircase. No mirrors in the bathrooms except one small vanity mirror…. No toilet paper holders, ensuite bathroom was very unusual. It had a shower over the toilet and small sink. We had problems with heating and managed to get a bit of heat the first night but not again after that. It was extremely cold and damp weather for July and without heat...
