"We stayed here as a family to celebrate my son’s 40th birthday and had a wonderful time. The house was immaculate and well equipped. The bedrooms were lovely, beds comfortable and tv, kettle and coffee/ tea making supplies in each room. The welcome pack was very generous with a selection of goodies that made the children’s eyes light up. Maybe the kitchen/ lounge diner was smaller than photos suggested but met all our needs. We walked to the local Hare and hounds to eat which had a varied menu...

"We spent 4 weeks with Jane. She was always helpful and available. Lovely family. She was very good at sharing her knowledge of the area and where to go to see attractions around. It was a lovely area and ideal distance to the local restaurant/pub with good food. Local community were very friendly and it was a great area for walking the dog and meeting like minded dog owners. The added bonus of fresh eggs to buy and fresh veggies and fruit in the village with a honesty box. Telephone box...

"Situated right on a busy road with little parking, especially for a large vehicle. No place in the bedrooms to put suitcases and had to climb a spiral staircase. No mirrors in the bathrooms except one small vanity mirror…. No toilet paper holders, ensuite bathroom was very unusual. It had a shower over the toilet and small sink. We had problems with heating and managed to get a bit of heat the first night but not again after that. It was extremely cold and damp weather for July and without heat...
