" I was worried after reading some of the recent reviews, but we had a great time and wish we had 2 nights there. The setting is gorgeous on the lovely lake, loved the food at dinner, it was really tasty & healthy , we had a really spacious room. The decor is old fashioned and the bathroom needs updating but most old English hotels are. Breakfast was terrible & very slow but we enjoyed everything else.
