"Historical building which has been heavily invested in to upgrade. Bathroom lovely, lift slow but steady. We loved the history behind the hotel, we did not love the parking which was VERY tight, nor the fire alarm blaring at 11pm, or the amorous couple in the room beside us. We heard every episode! Beds comfortable as were the pillows. Rooms were serviced daily. Meals were available. I feel an exhaust fan to the bathroom would be a terrific improvement "

"Great hotel in Shrewsbury. Close to all bars and restaurants. Just be aware there is live music most weekends so fairly noisy - didnt bother us as we were out for the evening. "
