"At this price point the hotel are advised to review the standard of their bathrooms, bed pillows and mattresses. All of these things let down what otherwise was a very pleasant hotel. First class service from the staff and excellent breakfasts were the undoubted highlights. "

"This was our first visit to Shrewsbury with the intention to do some Christmas shopping. We had some issues with parking due to the road closures but we parked at the station which was easy and only a 10 minute walk to the hotel. Amazing service at check in, so friendly and efficient. Breakfast was nice but unfortunately we were made to feel as though we didn't belong there which has now put us off staying at the hotel again. "

"Staff were very good and helpful. Lady on front desk very pleasant on check in. And the meal in the restaurant was delicious 😋 and the staff in the restaurant very good and helpful with my coeliac diet. Only negative was the wall's were paper thin and we could hear everything from next door. Especially in the bathroom. We did enjoy the stay. Was easy to walk to the bridge from the hotel as well. "
