"This is a premier hotel. As far as beachfront lodges go, it would be hard to compete with Quinta. The staff, on the whole, are terrific. And the accommodations tremendous! BUT, there are a few things to be aware of…. The restaurant is VERY EXPENSIVE. We (two) had a total of five meals over three days, and it cost me over $750. I don’t know how that’s possible, except that I did not pay sufficient attention to the pricing in pesos. It would benefit the international traveler to ensure all menus...

"This is our third stay over about twenty years at Aura del Mar. This place is heaven. The staff is excellent; the grounds are stunning. If you love Mexican art/architecture/colors, this place is for you. The rooms all face the sea and the views are magical.
