If you are feeling unsure of renting a VRBO in Zihuantanejo, jump into this rental with both feet. You will not be disappointed. p.s. if you are worried about the hill, there are multiple options that will take you up or down. Definitely not a reason to shy away. "

But of course, that would be unfair to all involved. ;-) Everything about this place worked well for us. The view is real. Thew owners are responsive and the property manager (fluent in at least Spanish and English) is available and attentive. The shared pool is always clean and beach access is one building over. Great location and great unit. Would definitely go...

" We have stayed in Ixtapa a dozen times over the past few years. This was our first time at the Amara and we fell in love with the property.Unfortunately we had a number of issues during this stay. Some, the owner had no control over but others it seemed could have been dealt with more swiftly. The main problem was a lack of internet for the entire first week (the other condo we had also rented did have internet so it wasn't an Amara wide issue). We work remotely and our kids are in online...

"You know, they had a TV but the view was the best TV in the world. We had a wonderful time. The steps to La Madera were right there, restaurants close by, security doorman nicest/sweetest in the world. Carmen was awesome. The condo had everything we needed….very hot when we were there but the bedroom stayed cool. What a view, great time. Highly recommended!"

"We had a great vacation staying here. The unit is well set up and in a good location. Shared beach with the neighboring resort with the ability to reserve beach chairs every day. Very calm beach for swimiing and easy access to local restaurants both on the beach and a short taxi away."
