"Warm welcome and offers of help with the luggage Smooth quick and friendly check in and shown to our room. Nice touch! Room was spacious clean and had everything we needed. Bed was a little on the soft side for my liking (but that is just my preference). Staff are helpful and lots of patience, nothing was too much trouble You get what you pay for imo My only issue is that we couldn’t get into the dining room on either night we stayed as it was full. "Lovely large room, clean and great value for money in a good location! Only niggle was that it took a long time to check in, we queued for 25/30 mins despite filling in the pre-check in form - would be great to have a quicker option for those who have completed that. "

"Excellent food. Fabulous service from reception, bar and restaurant. Beautiful location with amazing views. Friendly hospitable staff. Plenty of parking. Room was comfortable and spacious. It’s an old building with the related issues (you’d creak a bit if you were that old!). The breakfast buffet was limited however the cooked breakfast food more than made up for this. The evening meals were outstanding. We were part of a group of 6 and none of us were disappointed with the choice or quality. "
