"Our stay was very comfortable and it was a great location for our stopover between Scotland and Devon. The host was very efficient, friendly and accommodating to our needs. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only downside was the en suite bathroom which had a sensor light. This made any night time toilet trips impossible to make without waking someone up with the light and extractor fan. The shower pressure was very weak & the sink was tiny. All completely clean and functional...

"I was able to experience staying in a typical Victorian house. The owner made sure I had all I needed; he was prompt, cheerful, and polite. Groceries, fine dining, take-out, etc. are all nearby. I especially liked the charity shops where I was able to buy old books."

"Lymm is lovely and the property itself is very handy to the local area, has easy access and was very clean with a comfortable bed. However there was an automatic light that came on by the door (all one room) which is inside the bedroom, so if there's two people staying the night it is IMPOSSIBLE to sleep because as soon as you move, a really bright light illuminates the whole room. The second issue is that there's an extremely noisy fan that is on all of the time, it goes in cycles and turns off...

" Good value @ £30 a night clean, bed comfortable, a bit cold at night but the duvet was up to the job. Took a while to work out the shower on button it has a subtle action to stay on. "Very small room, no lampshade no tiolet roll. Doors banging very loudly with no regard for other people. Smoking in the house which was unpleasant. Nithing good to say really. 40quid a night is ridiculous for that room."
