"Our stay was very comfortable and it was a great location for our stopover between Scotland and Devon. The host was very efficient, friendly and accommodating to our needs. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only downside was the en suite bathroom which had a sensor light. This made any night time toilet trips impossible to make without waking someone up with the light and extractor fan. The shower pressure was very weak & the sink was tiny. "Very clean and well supplied kitchen and well presented rooms. Comfy bed but very lumpy pillows. The ensuite vent banged quite loudly throughout the night in the wind causing a disturbed sleep. It would be good if the apps on the tv worked so that guests could log into their own subscription tv. Generally, excellent value for money."

"I arrived late and the host had taken steps to make sure that I wasn't locked out. The room I had was large and I could have had my own kitchen setup if I was staying longer. In the morning I was greated by friendly host and I was offered a free continental breakfast. "

Lovely hotel in a great location

"Doing a road trip from London to Lake District this was a perfect stop. 5-10 minutes from the highway, 10 minutes walk into the very pretty town of Lymm. Outstanding value: we got a lovely room (first shown had just a roof out our window but given another option on request with open view) Bed was a very comfortable Queen with outstanding bedding, bathroom had a soaker tub - shower (great for my 6'3" husband). We had sandwiches & drinks in the bar on arriving: the brie, camembert, back bacon on toasted ciabatta was wonderful. Our barman (evening of March 23rd) was so personable, added to a lovely experience in their warm bar lounge. We booked vmthe bed & breakfast rate: excellent value. Breakfast was to-order plus continental: excellent & again in a lovely room with views to the garden We wanted to spend the morning exploring Lymm: reception told us we could leave our car in the car lot as long as needed. Walk into town (1) Public foot path across the street leads to (2) a well manicured broad path and from there (3) walk along the canal. Gorgeous! Really enjoyed the town. There are also a couple National Trust properties near by very worth checking out. From this hotel we were at our next stop in Lake District in under 2 hours. 100% recommend this hotel!"

"All staff at the hotel were friendly and welcoming. We booked a room for 3 adults which was clean, really large and spacious with partial views of the lake. Shower was great, really powerful.Variety of teas, coffees and biscuits to choose from in the room. Breakfast buffet was delicious with lots of variety to choose from from continental and cooked breakfast. Hotel grounds are beautiful, well kept and cared for. "

Wonderful weekend

"We have just returned from the most wonderful weekend at Cheshire Barns. The cottages are absolutely stunning and are so cosy and inviting. They have absolutely every amenity we could have wished for as a family staying with young children . The bonus of a gorgeous hot tub and tennis courts was fantastic. Location wise it’s such easy access to fantastic spots to walk and explore including Tatton park and Delamere forest. Our host was so incredibly kind too as we had to make last minute plans to bring our children with us when childcare fell through and they quickly accommodated us for a very kind discount in one of their larger cottages. We will absolutely be returning to this gorgeous cottage estate very soon thank you so much "
