"The absolute FRIENDLIEST staff. Rooms were clean and so comfortable. Water is provided. Pool was clean and quiet, with plenty to keep the kids busy. Food next door and coffee across the street was delicious, drinks too. 10/10 would stay again. 5 of us in a suite, ranging from 6 to 74 years old and no complaints. "

"Spent our babymoom and birthday here. The staff was accommodating and so kind throughout our stay. We had a water issue with our casita that was no a quick fix but they moved us to another room/suite when it was available as soon as they could. Food was good but it was also easy to drive around outside with the golf cart to the town area and beach and try other options. Highly recommend if you want a relaxing stay away from home without excessive crowds and noise."

"We have been staying at Grand Colony for years. The reason we keep returning is the convenience of walking down the beach to the dive shop, having a full size kitchen and individual bedrooms for everyone. There are no amenities to speak of. No restaurant, no bar, no spa, the beach chairs have seen better days but so has the beach. The sea grass is nothing Grand Colony can help but it does make the ocean unswimable. "It’s a very peaceful property and well kept grounds. The food is good and reasonably priced. You must have a golf cart to get anywhere as it is quite a drive to town but great for spending the day doing something away. This is a great place for relaxing, not a place if you need to stay busy. "

Paulina our housekeeper did an excellent job in maintaining the order and cleanness of our room. Mike the maintenance man educated us on the culture of the people of Ambergris Caye and recommended the best restaurants on the island. "
