"Beautiful, comfortable, romantic, and clean suites. Resort property was just big enough, with plenty of fun complimentary amenities such as kayaking or paddleboarding. Service was fantastic - every single staffmember from checking in to pool & restaurant dining, to activities manager, to housekeeping. Location is a bit farther from town (about 15-20 min by golf cart) but I loved the quiet. Would love to stay here again if I'm ever back in San Pedro."

"Absolutely beautiful resort. Quiet. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway this is it. Hammocks complete that relaxation vibe. Pillows and bedding are very comfortable. Two pools that were never crowded. Staff very attentive. Prices on resort are USD and comparable to US goods and services. Overall a great stay for more secluded and private feel. "

"When we arrived at the hotel, the whole site smelled of sewage. The restaurant area, the grounds, the pool area. When we asked why they said the pipes had broke. But when we tried to get our monies back and leave there was no manager at the hotel. The desk person said the manager lives in Mexico. When even Expedia tried to get in touch with the hotel to get a refund for us they coudln't get an answer. "

"This was our second time staying at Abezza, but it won't be our last! The first time we only stayed a single night, as we were driving around the country ourselves. We were a little unsure of what we would be arriving at, as it's a bit off the beaten path(it's not like you'll wander onto the property off the street in Belize City). It's about an hour drive; very scenic! Our second time we stayed a few nights as a parents getaway, and got to actually enjoy the different pools. We had a hot tub...

"It’s a clean and nice property, nice location. Staff was wonderful except for 1 girl who was just not nice or helpful, came across very unfriendly. Food options was very limited, but great breakfast options. Transport options to and from resort was criminally overpriced, wasn’t expecting perfection so a few issues was not off putting. Would definitely stay again, it’s really clean and beautiful and staff except the one girl was great "

"We have stayed at Sunset Beach Resort before. This year we rented two condos so we could bring all of our kids. This condo was great. And the property is awesome. The property manager, Jason, is truly the best. Barbara is thorough, and a great communicator, you know all your details before you arrive. We highly recommend this property."
