The reason we keep returning is the convenience of walking down the beach to the dive shop, having a full size kitchen and individual bedrooms for everyone. There are no amenities to speak of. No restaurant, no bar, no spa, the beach chairs have seen better days but so has the beach. The sea grass is nothing Grand Colony can help but it does make the ocean unswimable. "The hotel itself was lovely. We found that the restaurant listed in the booking was actually only for breakfast and was closed the day we came. There is major construction going on nearby. The staff however made the stay worth it. They were able to hired a taxi for us and made recommendation where to eat. Please be aware that there are at least 2 flights of stairs that you will need to climb."
