"Even with the construction happening during our stay (which we knew about ahead of time), this turned out to be one of the best anniversary vacations we've had in a while. "The Beachside was perfect for what I needed, a quick, one-night stop. The room was comfortable and clean, and I got a good night’s rest. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional. However, like every property around it, The Beachside suffered significant storm damage. The deck and pool were damaged and off limits. The sliding glass door to the balcony would not lock. Once repairs are finished, I’d up this rating significantly. "
