"We loved staying in this Historic property but were constantly surprised by the cost. Everything seemed to have an additional charge. Beach chairs, seats by fire pits, bikes. Hard to see what was included in “resort fee” besides the pool. Staff were wonderful and property is delightful but be prepared to spend a lot of money on incidentals."

"A quiet and beautiful way to enjoy the DEL without the crowds! The entire area is members only. You aren’t sharing spaces with thousands, but also in close proximity to all the resort has to offer. Loved it!"

"We love El Cordova and have stayed there several times. The one complaint I have from my last trip was how loud the people were in the room next to us. They woke our entire family and didn’t quiet down even after talking to the front desk. 😒that was a huge disappointment and would have appreciated the hotel making it up to us. "

"It has a great location, was well kept and had nice accommodations like breakfast items and waters always available. It was also easy to self check in and out."

"It is a little loud because of the corner location but we had a wonderful time. Easy walking distance to the ferry landing, market, park and the Coronado Brewery. We loved the amazing breakfast selection and the beautiful landscaping all around. Great place to stay and very affordable!"

"Excellent location and good clean pool. But the room has outdated furniture, a tiny TV, no normal clothes hangers (maybe 3 or 4, the ones they give you for free from Dry cleaners), a small refrigerator without a freezer with a temperature higher than 42, and no coffee maker or microwave. Very uncomfortable setup. The room is a good size for all of it."
