"The Shangri-La is one of those older, very large hotels that are doubtless very expensive to maintain and easy to neglect. The good news is that in the main it works well. The lobby is very smart, it has a great pool area and we enjoyed the gym. The rooms are spacious if in need of a little updating. We are at the Waterfall restaurant on site where the food and service were pretty average unfortunately. Overall a good experience if a little expensive."

"Absolutely a jewel in Singapore. Rooms are classic and elegant. FYI! Balmain products in the bathroom. Breakfast buffet THE BEST with variety of traditional Asian food. 200 S$ credit are totally worth it to use in hotel restaurants. Access to Fullerton bay hotel. We will be back!!! "

"We loved our time at Swissotel. We had a great view of the city skyline, the room was very clean and modern. The best part was the breakfast; there was so much choice. The only con I can think of is that in room dining menu had limited choices. But it’s an amazing place despite that and would stay again here. "
