"The hotel was OK. We arrived very early morning and were advise that if we wished to check in there would be a fee which was fine but I found the fee a bit steep. When we questioned the fee we were told we would have a free upgrade to compensate the fee. However, my room was not a refurbished room and was very tired and outdated."

"For a boutique style hotel - the Scarlet is really good. The staff was friendly and accommodating - late check out approved without any hassle. The bed was firm, which gave me a perfect sleep. My accommodation included a free mini bar, which was really nice. Lots of restaurants, nightlife and Chinatown within walking distance.
