Room was comfortable but the bathroom is strange and cramped and could use some hooks for towels that aren't in the shower area. Hot water comes only if you turn on bathtub faucet first and must turn it to the right, not left as is common in most places."

" The Scarlet is an excellent hotel. The rooms are nicely furnished, and the free minibar was an added bonus. The staff was efficient and more than accommodating. The location is good…located right next to a Hawkers’ market…which made finding food easy. The only issue we had was that the rooftop bar (part of the reason we booked The Scarlet) was not available to us our first night due to a private function.
