"Decided to stay here after reading many reviews. The staff were all very friendly. The hotel smelled very good when you walked in. The valet was fast and there was plenty of parking all around (This was in January so..). I wouldn't pay to upgrade to a "River walk view" as all you could see was a stagnet trash puddle basically. Rooms were small but clean and quiet and the showers were nice. Would stay there again."

"I enjoyed my stay! Quiet, clean, a wonderful staff, and a pleasant experience overall. I had an unexpected travel delay and the staff were more than willing to assist me, which I will always appreciate. The view from the top floor is nice as well! "

"We loved the staff and location . We were on the 6th floor and had let the water run for a long to even receive luke warm water to shower."

"Our first night we stayed in a poolside room at the request of our 3 and 8 year old boys. We stayed on the 2nd floor and you can hear the noise from the pool in the rooms, which was not a problem for us. We did upgrade our room to a balcony room on the 3rd floor when the boys had a change of heart and wanted to try to see bear from the balcony. We had a street view but the mountains in the background were so pretty. Our boys loved the pool and it was pretty warm compared to any other indoor...

"The room was really small and a bit cold but for the price I really couldn’t be upset. I didn’t come expecting a full service luxury hotel and I left very happy. The hotel itself is really well decorated and the staff was incredibly friendly. The location was also a huge plus as everything was walkable despite the low temperatures outside. Overall a very positive experience and would love to stay here again."

"The property itself was excellent. The people was very nice and friendly. The only thing I did not like about this hotel it did not have a microwave or a refrigerator. I could have lived without a refrigerator but I did need a microwave due to the fact that they don't serve any type of Continental breakfast. But I guess that was my fault for not doing my investigation on this hotel a little better. So the next time I visit New Orleans I would not be staying there only because of the microwave....
