"Great spot for walking to either the Old Port area or the clubs and restaurants on State Street. Nice, large rooms - many with a nice view of the bay. Only issue is that right now they are renovating their lobby and it is very confusing to determine how and where to check in and how and where to exit and enter the building."

"What an amazing stay! Next time we will stay for more than 1 night. The hotel was easy to drive right into the valet garage. The desk staff was super pleasant and helpful. The hotel has a nautical theme that was beautifully done, down to details like drawer pulls. The artwork and lighting was perfect. Our room was clean, huge, and had a wonderful view of the garden area. So many towels, a nice wardrobe and bar area, a full bath and a shower. It was a studio apartment size! Every floor has a snack/breakfast area that was well stocked. I will always reserve a room here when I visit Portland, ME. "
