"Coffee and tea service in the room was nice. The river view was beautiful, even in the rain. Loved how they provided a refilable filtered water station and 2 glass bottles for our use in the room. Much better than water bottle waste. The linens and pillows were comfortable, but the mattress was too firm for my liking and I woke with hip pain during the nigjt. Staff were very friendly. "

"Hotel is ok... construction going on so kind of took from the ambience. Close to...as in walking distance to a million restaurants so that was definitely a plus. Parking was confusing. Would love to have had the option of room service but it wasn't suggested. Overall 3/5 star rating."

"I have stayed here about seven times and it has consistently been a clean, nice hotel with very friendly staff that make your stay very comfortable. It is right on the main Street, king street with plenty of restaurants cafes and shops a short walk."

"They charge a lot for a room, which I get. But then they have low class habits like charging for snacks in the room, and upcharging $35/nt for "amenities" that the hotel provides, such as internet and gym. You are already paying for that level of quality. Low class, Willard, low class. "

"This is now my favorite hotel in DC after many Family visits and college tours here in the past. It is a historic hotel with a unique interior design that combined rich american history and modern decor throughout the hotel. In our one bedroom suite, I particularly love the writing area with “We the People” theme, and a super comfy mattress and fluffy pillows for a great night sleep. The service was attentive especially when Geo turned back and checked us in right away when he saw us walking...

"Great setting in an old bank and superb location. Cafe staff were exceptional. Rooms were well decorated but our bathroom door was blocked by the shower so it wouldn’t open fully. Also, our room lacked hot water and once alerted to the fact an onsite engineer was dispatched. "
