"We booked 2 rooms for my family of 6. The rooms are spacious with plenty of counter space and storage. Everything was clean and included slippers and PJ’s and all bathroom amenities. It was a great location for our base in Kyoto. The laundry was closed during our stay but there is a great laundromat about a 5 min walk away. "This was our second stay at Serendipity. The property is nicely maintained and we were very comfortable. Chie san was very helpful. We tried out some more of her recommended restaurants and were not disappointed. A particular plus is that the house, while very quiet, is just steps from a major bus line, so that it is very easy to get downtown, to the station, or to Higashiyama or Gion, in just minutes. "The location is in the perfect. Close to all of the dining and shopping of Kawaramachi. Transport is easily accessible to many locations and walking distance to a lot of attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful."
