"Corte Contarina is a comfortable hotel in an excellent location if you're in town for the Biennale - just off the lively Via Garibaldi but super quiet and far from the crowds of tourists. The Arsenale is minutes away and the Giardini aren't much farther afield. There is also a Coop and a pharmacy minutes away for any last-minute needs, plus a gelateria that stays open late! Room was very clean and staff was helpful and clear. I only wish breakfast had been a bit nicer, and didn't love needing to...

"A great hotel! The staff were great. We just loved the hotel and spent most of our time in the bar lobby and on our balcony. We have seen Venice a number of times and Hotel Danieli is close everything. The ambience is unlike any hotel. A must stay!"

"Gentleman at the front desk was very enthusiastic and friendly. Rooms are definitely dated, bed was uncomfortable and bathrooms (single room) were very tiny, I could barely move after I got out the shower. My room has a really nice patio that overlooked the canal which was very nice. Very good location."

"Locanda La Corte is an intimate, friendly characterful property. Our room was beautiful and large with Canal views. Rami, the owner is so hospitable and kind he made us feel so welcome, as did all the staff. We ate dinner in the restaurant on our first night and it was the best meal of our stay in Venice. Really really good. Accompanied by Rami on base guitar! Such a wonderful evening. Breakfast is a simple but delicious buffet with the best coffee and hot chocolate. The hotel is in a quiet area but very easy to walk to the Rialto, San Marco etc and the hotel is a 10 min walk from the nearest Vaporetto stop Ospedale. Watch out for mosquitoes. We got bitten even in February- but that’s Venice, not the hotel. We will be back. "
