"The Spier is a lovely vineyard with good accommodation. They are now starting a complete renovation of the hotel and keeping all their staff on as part of the plan . I have always felt completely safe and cared for within the hotel grounds . A wonderful breakfast in the sunshine is the perfect way to start the day . "It was my first time to South Africa, the receptionist and manager of the hotel helped me feel safe and welcomed. We arrived late due to delay and the receptionist was friendly, telling us where we can go to stretch our legs. When I asked if I can move the swing chair to outside my room, the manager offer to get the guard to help me. The place is lovely and I will definitely go back again."

"We had a fantastic stay at The Devon Valley Hotel. It offers a serene escape with stunning vineyard views and the Helderberg Mountains as a backdrop. Our room, although small, was elegantly furnished and had a spacious shower room. The staff provided warm hospitality and the food/wine was exceptional. The secluded outdoor pool and beautiful gardens were fantastic too, and offered a peaceful retreat after a long day cycling around wineries. Highly recommended for a luxurious and comfortable stay."
