" My husband and I live in Washington DC and we went to Camps Bay/ Cape Town for our 10th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The hotel staff were kind, helpful, responsive and friendly. (They were all wonderful but we’d like to give a special shout out to Sinza and Yaerika!) The rooms are beautiful and the location is perfect. It’s close to the beach and walking distance of lots of beachfront restaurants. The hotel stocks the room daily with a variety of foods (including fresh bread, smoked trout, eggs, bacon, fruit, yogurt, avocado, and more). We are so happy we found South Beach Camps Bay—it was perfect!"

"We really enjoyed our stay and couldn’t have picked a better location. The beach and Camp’s Bay waterfront were a short walk and it was an easy drive from the airport and to a lot of different sites. It was very nice to have a yard to relax in and the property is surrounded by a lot of vegetation so has a sense of privacy. Trade off for the convenient location is that the surrounding houses are very close. A house down the street had two dogs that barked incessantly and the next door neighbor was doing construction for part of our stay so we had that to listen to. We were out most days so didn’t really matter too much. The house is cute with kind of a funky beach vibe. We only used two of the bedrooms which were quite nice, the beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. It’s nice that every room has its own bathroom, although the back master bathroom toilet is very cramped, so much so that my boyfriend used a different toilet as he couldn’t shut the door of ours without banging his knees. Again, a trade off because it’s able to accommodate a lot of people in a not huge space. The host was very nice and communicative, I unfortunately missed in the house rules about a cash payment for late check in. We arrived around 9:30 pm, after 9 it’s a 700ZAR fee. We didn’t have that extra cash so had to hit an ATM, it would have been preferable to just be charged through VRBO, or even PayPal. Overall, it was lovely and we’d stay again! "

"Great location, great, helpful staff and great facilities. Beautiful views out over the Atlantic to the west for fabulous sunsets at the front and Table Mountain to the rear. A short 5 min walk to the beach and restaurants at Camps Bay. We loved our stay at 3 on Camps Bay. The free coffee and pastries in the afternoon and the honesty bar were a big bonus. Thank you 3 on Camps Bay team, we will be back!!"

"The Sea Castle is located at the end of the beach at Camps Bay. It is convenient for the many bars, restaurants, etc. It is just on the beach too. The location is also very quiet at night. In my room all I heard was the ocean. Very peaceful. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Everyone was welcoming. Check in and out was efficient. The hotel is a B&B, so only breakfast offered. This was good with a choice of cooked and buffet. There is a bar / breakfast room and a small terrace with pool. This has ocean views and is lovely. My room was 4 and this was convenient and quiet. It is a spacious room, light and well decorated. The AC is quiet and effective. I had a balcony with a table and ocean view. The bed was comfy, the linen clean, and I slept very well. There is a safe in the room and a kettle. The en suite shower room was spacious and well presented. There is a mini bar in the room with a choice of beverages. I enjoyed my stay at this guest house and I will stay here again. Recommended. "

" We had an exceptional experience here. The hotel was impeccably clean, which made our stay comfortable. The staff were lovely and always ready to assist with a smile, making us feel right at home. Another highlight was the ample parking available, which is a huge plus in this area. The views from the hotel were great, offering stunning vistas of the ocean and surrounding landscape. Although we didn’t get a chance to use the pool, it looked well-maintained. Overall, we highly recommend the Sovn for anyone looking to stay in Camps Bay."
