"The couch, carpet and chair in the lounge were filthy. The place also smelled like it was standing closed for months. We kept the door open constantly for fresh air. The bathrooms can also do with extractor fans. Coffee machine missing, as well as docking station, but there was a used (dirty) espresso cup on the counter when we arrived. "Very nice stay, rooms perfect and service exceptional. Breakfast times were busy due to number of non-hotel guest diners. A close by road made the ambience slightly less idyllic than imagined when sat outside. Other than that, would return. "

There is simply no better view on the Helshgoote Pass. Staff were extremely helpful with nice touches to enhance guests stay throughout.
