"The Spier is a lovely vineyard with good accommodation. They are now starting a complete renovation of the hotel and keeping all their staff on as part of the plan . I have always felt completely safe and cared for within the hotel grounds . A wonderful breakfast in the sunshine is the perfect way to start the day . There are many things to do swimming , cycling , walking , visit the hotel vegetable garden and see the birds enroute . I look forward to visiting Spier next year after its...

"The couch, carpet and chair in the lounge were filthy. The place also smelled like it was standing closed for months. We kept the door open constantly for fresh air. The bathrooms can also do with extractor fans. Coffee machine missing, as well as docking station, but there was a used (dirty) espresso cup on the counter when we arrived. "Atlantic House is one of a kind experience. Only has 5 rooms so you feel like you're staying in a private residence. The staff are wonderful, great breakfast included, nice ocean view, quite and relaxing environment. 10 minute walk to the beach, quick drive to downtown area of Cape Town. "
