We were made aware of the leak an hour before we booked in and they said it would be fixed the next day. "Great location to stay, but the listing is a bit mis-leading. The place says that there is free wifi and it is marketed as a self place to stay, but there is no soap of any kind provided (no hand soap, body soap, or hair soap). When traveling from far distances, it's not reasonable to bring these items, so the place should clearly label it. At the same time, it says "free wifi" but you are actually limited to 3GB's. While they will say it can last a long time if you are just checking email,...

"First of all the staff are lovely, the welcome I received and the check ins each day to ask what I had planned were much appreciated. The room was perfect for what I needed, might have been a bit tight for two with luggage. The parking is good, I didn’t struggle to get a space either in the courtyard or on the driveway at the front even returning late at night. Breakfast was good with plenty of fresh fruit."

"My family of three had a great stay at Avatara. Our bed was large and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and filling, and all staff were kind and great with our toddler. The airport transfer Avatara arranged for us was easy and the driver was so wonderful. Additionally, communication with the owner before our stay was prompt, kind, and clear. This was our first trip to Cape Town and the Green Point neighborhood is safe with plenty to do and great places to eat. We recommend Avatara 100%!"

"The Hotel was lovely and with a big attention for details. We got a cozy and big room with a privat garden. The stuff was amazing : both shifts: Domingos and Sheley were Fantastic and very helpful and kind. We love the place and the vibes and the hotel Is basically walking distance form everything. We walked twice to the Waterfront Mall and we felt safe all the way and enjoyed a pleasant walk. We also meet the German owner who was very kind and warm. We will come back cause CPT is amazing. "
