"OMG, what a wonderful place. The B&B has two rooms, and for one night it was just us in the house. Our bed was comfortable and the bathroom was well decorated and brought out the character of the old house. It has been lovingly reserved. The owners are very friendly and the view is magnificent. They also provide a great breakfast and will give you lots of tips for things to do in the area."

House is very old and only drawback (which is original to the house and should not be changed!) is the bar/latch style door handles. The Violet Room has its private bathroom across the hall landing, but if you get up in the night as we do, you do make a lot of noise rattling those handles! "Beautiful inn but kitchen was burnt back in August so we had to go to a sister property for breakfast. We were only notified 3 days before arrival so it was too late to make arrangements. Other than that staff were extremely nice and helpful. "

"Never judge a book by its cover. I stayed at the Mariner's Motel last minute. I was loking for the least expensice place and knew i would be taking a gamble. I was a bit skeptical at the older looking place when i pulled up. Very simple lobby and had to wait since it was after hours for innkeeper to open lob y. That was fine, i got in late.
