The room was not the cleanest there was hair on the floor in the bathroom from previous guest. The floor was dirty. I stood on a towel after showering and the underside was filthy from the floor. Not what I expected. Pretty gross

Did not like noise ac fan made,to loud. Bed mattress was way to soft. Also no where to put suitcases. On good side, parking was great. Lobby and sitting area were excellent.

This is a perfect spot in Newport as it is in the center of everything. Most everything you would want to see is within walking distance. The hotel sits right on the water. We enjoyed our coffee in the lounge area located on each floor that overlooks the water. So beautiful! The rooms are immaculate, however, I would caution anyone that these rooms are minimalistic in design. There is no closet. The bathroom sink is outside the small toilet/shower area. The sink outside the toilet is not that big so if you have a lot of toiletries you may have trouble finding room to put them. There are drawers under the bed for your clothes and just enough room to walk around the bed. There are no refrigerators or microwaves in the room, however, the staff is great about having it placed in the main refrigerator behind the front desk on the first floor. They also have bags of ice in a cooler on each floor which we used for the cooler we had in the room. All that being said, we would stay there again but now know what to expect. We had a wonderfully relaxing time!
