The Chateau is still the best game in town, but its opulence has faded. Things are more expensive without being better and some favourite aspects are less than they were. For the price, I think you can do better.

The Frontenac is an icon for a reason. The property is absolutely beautiful and we experienced exceptional service during our stay. It was the perfect trip for our honeymoon and we would stay here again in a heartbeat. The Gold feature is absolutely worth the money. We hope to return soon!

Beautiful and elegant old-school yet modernized building. Simply breathtaking to behold, especially at night. Stunning Christmas decorations. Restaurants and staff most excellent. Room was comfortable; unfortunately 2of the three light fixtures were inoperative. Took two requests to have maintenance fix them, could not do so. One remained inop while the other had to dive under the desk to plug/unplug for it to function. Elegant and well-appointed bathroom. Concierge first rate. Desk staff professional and friendly.
