I loved the property and the location. The staff were also friendly. And the fact that it had a pool and hot tub. However, the hot tub jets weren’t working and the water didn’t seem to be circulating. Also, the hotel wasn’t as clean as I would have expected. There was dust all over the glass table in the lobby and there was debris in the room behind the nightstands which we noticed because we dropped something behind the nightstand. It’s a lovely hotel but needs some attention to detail regarding upkeep.

We were in a suite with a balcony overlooking the pool and it was delightful the room had a living room with fireplace, a separate bedroom, and a large bathroom. The best part was that we could open our doors to the balcony and sit out there with a tea or coffee and enjoy a kind of “tropical” feeling as we looked at the pool or enjoyed a musical experience. There was a large screen displaying ocean creatures that was mesmerizing and which contributed to a wonderful feeling of calm. Folks in other suites sat with books, laptops, or c playing cards. The restaurant in the building was excellent and we walked everywhere or took and Uber/taxi for short distances if we needed to. We will definitely stay here again.

Arriving in the room the toilet was clogged and didn’t work, makes us second guess if it was even clean. Call front desk 4 times over an hour, had to go get a maintenance man myself. Bathroom door was also broken and did not close properly, told front desk and they didn’t do anything about it. In the evening we went to the pool for a swim and could not because they had a concert there. Kids were very disappointed. When I checked out I was not even thanked or barely acknowledged.
