"The place was the entire second story of a three story building. Glad there was an elevator from the garage. The unit was nice and bright with a great view of the ocean. Lots of amenities - towels, beach towels and equipment, kitchen appliances, dishes and utensils. The main shopping area of Carlsbad was within walking distance. Beds were very comfortable. Nice and quiet. Could not hear others in other rooms in the unit nor from other units in the building. Very little noise from outside...

"The property is right on the strand. There is a small road between you and the beach. There are two parking spaces in a garage below the building. The garage is gated. There are really two master suites. One is towards the back. It has a king bed and en suite bathroom. There is a small fridge and microwave. There's access to a private patio (non-ocean facing). The other master has 2Q and has a sitting area. Sliding doors open to the ocean. It has a large bathroom with tub and a shower....

"All in all a great home. Everything as advertised. Beds and sofa were comfortable. Everything was clean. We'll stay here again. Words of advice, however, there is no wifi on the balcony. We suggested to management that they fix that since we spent a lot of time out there. And, our Verizon and AT&T phones had no signal on the balcony, so be forewarned. Also, the instructions for the wifi in their advance email don't work - pay attention to the directions on the TV in the living room. Lastly, and...

"The house and location were great. We loved the views and the sounds of the ocean. Hanging around the fire pit playing trivia was a lot of fun. We enjoyed many meals and sunsets. Our miniature poodle had fun watching the many squirrels playing in the sand. Overall it was a great location to spend our 20th wedding anniversary."
