The rooms are small but efficiently designed. Very close to Pershing square metro stop and grand central market. Staff was helpful and welcoming. Loved being able to control everything from I pad.

THE ROOMS ARE NOT DESIGNED FOR ALL AGE GROUPS, ONLY TALL PEOPLE CAN GET ON THE BED AS THE BED IS TOO HIGH FOR SMALL MADE PEOPLE AND CHILDREN THE BEDS ARE NOT BEDS. A MATRESS WAS PLACED ON TOP OF A BUILT IN TWO DRAWER SET AT THE BOTTOM THE KINGBED WAS VERY LARGE AND MOVED RIGHT UP TO THE WINDOW THERE IS NO SPACE TO GO AROUND TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE BED IF TWO PEOPLE SLEEPING THE FIRST PERSON HS TO JUMP ON THE BED AND SCROLL ON TO THE OTHER SIDE THE CLEANERS ARE JUMPING ON THE BED TO MAKE THE BED SO IT IS NOT HYGENIC AT ALL NO WARDROBES FOR PUT YOUR CLOSTHS THE WASH BASIN IS OUTSIDE THE BATHROOM VERY SMALL BASIN AND TOO HIGH NO BODY WASH OR PASTE AND BRUSH IN THE BATHROOM THE ROOM DOORS ARE TOO HEAVY TO OPEN BY SMALL WEAK OR DISABLE PEOPLE THE BREAKFAST WAS NOT FREE THE CHARGE FOR A BREAKFAST IS $25.00 FOR A STANDARD NOT BUFFET OR SPRAY OF ALL OPTIONS AS CONTINENTAL!!! I loved CitizenM. It was clean, hipster-y (in a good way, has a decent bar, and definitely has a European flair. Which I love. The rooms are very small though. It was perfect for me as a single traveler, but might feel a touch snug for a couple.

didn’t give water jugs to be stored in room cooler, room cooler was broken and unable to be opened without an object, and was forced to have a full cleaning but duvet cover and sheets weren’t changed they just made the bed and sat up the pillows…

If you’re travelling as a young person to a concert or something, this is a good spot if you can get a good deal. I was travelling with my mom and it was not suitable for us. First off, the rooms are the size of a closet, tiny, similar layout to that of a camper van or small RV. The bed is against the wall so one person has to climb over the other if you need to use the bathroom. The bathroom is also just several feet from the bed so 0 privacy. Only a red light in the bathroom which was pretty weird for two ladies travelling together. Plug beside the bed didn’t work, called down and the staff was very polite but kept asking us to reset the plugs and try again. We made the most of it, the staff was very friendly and the place was pretty clean (despite finding a used qtip in my bed) I would absolutely NOT stay here if you’re over 25, however if you’re young and up for a downtown LA adventure at a good price, it’s suitable.

Website room pictures did not match what I found myself in. The smell of body odor inside the room was nauseating. The team at the front desk was attentive and helpful. Restaurant staff seem to focus on their phones or chat with their colleagues.

While the area around the hotel is quite sketchy, I found the hotel quite charming. The staff were very accommodating.The hotel itself is clean and modern. The room is compact but comfortable. An ipad is used to control room lighting and temperature.

The hotel rooms were great, especially for a solo traveller or a couple. The room has everything and is controlled by an ipad. They also close their lobby doors at night and you can only go in with a key card. Not the best part of town but still good. Very close to bus stops too.
