"This was a great hotel! In a perfect location to see the sights of Madrid, but they have noise-proofed the rooms perfectly so it was so quiet in the room despite being in a busy location. Bed was super comfortable and staff available, helpful, friendly and gave good advice. The room is exactly as shown in the pictures, so it is compact, but they have made good choices about providing comfort while still keeping it an affordable stay in an ideal location (e.g. awesome high powered hair dryer)....

Only negative is that the room was configured a bit awkwardly—a very large bathroom created by glass partitioning made for tight quarters elsewhere. But as problems go, that is about a 2 on a scale of 10. This is a beautiful, historic building (as you will learn), right by the Plaza Mayor. Highly recommended "
