Close to public transport to move around Madrid, plus walkable to Plaza Mayor, El Rastro Flea Market (so crowded but fun to wander around) plus many other places. Communication with host was excellent especially instructions for entry into the building and flat. If you are going to Madrid for a few days, highly recommend."

Only negative is that the room was configured a bit awkwardly—a very large bathroom created by glass partitioning made for tight quarters elsewhere. But as problems go, that is about a 2 on a scale of 10. This is a beautiful, historic building (as you will learn), right by the Plaza Mayor. Highly recommended "
