"Comfy stay, the hotel is in a convenient location and well furnished. I asked beforehand for a late checkout as was told to phone reception at 7am on the day (not very convenient if the reason you need a late checkout is to sleep!) "I enjoyed my stay at the Owl Hotel. They have a friendly cat Basille there, partly why i chose to stay here :) hotel is clean, has small elevator and cute backyard. I stayed on 3rd floor and unfortunately wifi was very spotty and wouldnt work for more than 5min at a time. Also wouldnt work if you are laying in bed, had to find a corner where it would but again only for like 5min. Reception said they reset the router but it didnt help much. Maybe invest in stronger router or set one on each...

"This is a beautiful old hotel with classic marble and wood decor, which does show its age a bit but in a charming way. The location is close to the station which was handy for an early flight. The rooms was a very good size for Amsterdam, it was well equiped with good coffee, excellent bathroom. The price was very good for this quaility of hotel. Above all the staff were fantastic. I would definately stay here again, and recommend it to others."
