"Property is well located for sightseeing and on a busy street with a supermarket and plenty of food options. Staff were friendly enough and bag store was there for keeping luggage safe after checkout etc. It is run down though and if you dont like steep stairs then it's not one to visit (though this can be said of most Amsterdam hotels). It's in a lovely neighbourhood with loads to do in the evening and good transport links into the city and convenient for visoting my son too. "The July was absolutely lovely. I have OCD and will only stay where the place feels clean. The bathroom was spotless, the bed and bedding was clean (and comfortable - I slept like a baby) The staff were super friendly and gave us some really lovely restaurants to go and try (we’re foodies!!) and any bits missing from the room, they sorted in less than 5 minutes after calling the front desk. I could literally have stayed for another two weeks there to be honest and I’m hoping to come back asap...
