It is exactly what I wanted knowing we would hear the trains at night as my partner has a keen train and ship interest and this was a birthday trip. Saying that the noise was not significant through the night, only after 0600 does the traffic increase. Breakfast options were adequate but not excessive, orange juice was acidic. "We've just had 4 nights at the Hotel Clemens with our (almost) 3 year old. After tackling the stairs you are greeted with a wonderful lounge offering drinks and snacks all day. The staff are all wonderful and cant do enough for you. Our little boy was treated like a prince and he has come home with wonderful memories. Yes the rooms are small and the stairs are steep but this gem of a hotel is worth every step. We cant wait to come back!"
