"The hotel is modern, clean and very comfortable. The front desk accommodated my request for a ground floor room and it was much appreciated. They also loaned me a US to NZ power plug and I’m most grateful for that. Housekeeping didn’t cleaned my room on the 1st day but promptly cleaned upon request, I think it was an oversight. The location of the hotel is also very ideal, a 8 minutes walk from the bus exchange and afforded the opportunity to walk in the neighborhood to enjoy the beautiful murals and street arts. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again when I return to Christchurch in the future."

"Very nice hotel, interesting architecture, lots of green gardens, food was excellent. A park and golf course across the street, botanic gardens there is awesome and free, a 10 minute drive into downtown on the other side of the park. "

"It did what we wanted which was a bed for the last couple nights of our long holiday. Comfortable and lovely. Could do more of the breakfast buffet though for the price we paid though. But the staff on our first night of arriving were great. We arrived late due to a trip on our first night and kitchen were closing but they accommodated us with some food. We really appreciated that. Thanks "
