"The only negative was the bed. Two singles had been put together so there was a really uncomfortable hard seam down the 'middle' where the bed edges were. A good mattress topper would probably solve this."

Good spot for an inexpensive quick overnight.

"I was checking in late. The front desk called to coordinate with me and was accomodating. The furnishings were older and worn, but everything was clean and the linens were fresh and soft. It was nicely decorated and pretty. Everything was well maintained and they even had an electric blanket. I only needed a place to sleep for a couple of hours. I'd almost booked a hostle but this price was nearly the same and private. I'm glad i did! I would stay again. The parkinglot is small and a bit hard to get out of, but the parking itself was good."

"My family of 5 adults stayed in a 2 bed 1 bath apartment on the Ist floor (ground 1). Since there are only 2 floors ( ground, first), there are no elevators, so we had to carry our large bags up the stairs. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful and helped us carry the bags. The rooms were very comfortable, all.amenities were good. The check in/check out was simple too. We found a kerala cuisine "pothichor" at a 3 minute walk and were elated. The airport is about 20 minute drive from here. There is a westfield mall at a 25 minute walk. There is a bus stop rignt in front and can be used to go to the city. Westfield mall.is one stop away. This location is away from the city so we took multiple ubers. Didnt know that NZ does not have uber XL for five people. They only have uber for 4 people. Also the buses do not accept credit card, need to buy the transport card. Overall we enjoyed our stay at riccarton and would definitely consider booking them for a future trip."
