"Lovely stay at the Royal Sonesta downtown. The location was very nice. We enjoyed being close to the river and having access to the shopping and eateries. The bed was comfortable but the pillows weren’t as good. We were on the 29th floor so While you could hear the train and some traffic noise it was muffled. The elevators were fast and the wait for them was short, although they were small so only a few people if everyone had a suitcase with them. The fitness center was nice with two Peloton bikes but one was broken. There’s a water station in the gym as well so we used it to fill our water bottles during the stay, which was nice. The views from the hotel were great. Only caveat is that the Trump tower is across the way and the lights from the sign were bright- thank goodness for the blackout curtains! The front desk staff was attentive and knowledgeable. We were able to check in early which was really nice. Overall a lovely stay. "

"This is such a cool spot!!! It’s like walking into the past with updates!! Everything from the the elevator to the staff to the extras were above and beyond!! Free coffee and tea and scones, and we got a free bottle of wine with our room!! We stayed on the 17th floor and didn’t hear a peep from any of our neighbors! It’s within walking distance of so many cool spots, not having to uber was a huge plus!! I cannot recommend enough!!"

"I had a great time for the 3 days that i stayed at the hotel. The food was delicious at the restaurant and rouf top and lobby. The staff was verry helpfull to my wife and myself. I not only give it 5 stars but 10 if i could. Thank you so much "

"Very nice, affordable hotel option for families, with large rooms, abundant breakfast, daily room cleaning, nice staff, great location. We liked the included breakfast (only bad thing is that it stops at 9:30), the free daily happy hour with variety of snacks. Location is great, with plenty of dining options (including Eataly and Ramsey Burgers next block), proximity of transport and main attractions, safe feeling. Best of all, this is really well priced!"

"Room was overall clean. Towels had some stains and parking were he only issues with this hotel. Enjoyed the area it was in and the walking shops and restaurants. Would book again. "
