"This resort is amazing and I wish I was back there now. We only stayed here 2 nights of our 8 night stay in Costa Rica, but it was our favorite. We have a family of 4 and we stayed in a deluxe treehouse which fit us nicely. The grounds are beautiful and walkable and the staff is friendly. "This was most interesting stay on my Costa Rica vacation, a somewhat quirky but comfortable beach hotel. My room was clean, spacious, the AC was working well, and the poolside room helped make it pretty quiet (a beach bar was across the street playing music). The bathroom had a jacuzzi style tub with a hand shower, no standup shower which I much prefer. There is no light or switch by the bed, so my cellphone served as a temporary nightlight. "We were surprised at our room - this is a place we could live in. It has a beautiful view of the ocean and the tidal slough, it's quiet, it has a nice kitchen, and is laid out well. The restaurant was nice and the staff friendly. We had 2 pools to choose from, and took advantage of them every day. The grounds were very pretty and well-maintained. It was easy to get in and out and conventient to stores and sights in Puntarenas."

"Honestly, this hotel should be rated much higher. It felt luxe and private. Employees remembered us by name, always friendly, warm, and attentive. The pool was exceptional- heated to a perfect temp and so big that it always felt as if we had the whole pool to ourselves. "

"The gardens and view from this property were gorgeous. We didn't need air conditioning because of the lovely breezes in the evenings. The beds were comfortable and the staff on-site very accommodating. It helps to speak Spanish!"

Hotel Heliconias Nature Inn & Hot Springs

"This resort is amazing and I wish I was back there now. We only stayed here 2 nights of our 8 night stay in Costa Rica, but it was our favorite. We have a family of 4 and we stayed in a deluxe treehouse which fit us nicely. The grounds are beautiful and walkable and the staff is friendly. We were able to see multiple sloths and plenty of other wildlife. One afternoon, my teenaged daughter accidently left her wallet (with cash) in the restaurant, but it was kept safe by the staff (Luis) until she realized her mistake and retrieved it. We took the night tour with Victor and thoroughly enjoyed it, and we appreciated his passion about farming and sustainability. Also, the coffee is amazing. We ate all of our meals here and the food was fresh and delicious (I would personally recommend the farm to table casado and the breakfast omelet). Overall we recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing, quiet stay, close to nature with quality food and great staff."
