"Such a beautiful property & great value!!! Unbelievable views from our room of the waterfall on property grounds. Photos of the property do not do it justice. We booked this very last minute due to a change of schedule due to rain & the host’s communication was very helpful. We were pleasantly surprised at how much we loved our change of plans. Not only was this property beautiful & full of hummingbirds, but Bajos del Toro was charming & had so much to offer. "

"This villa offers everything you could desire. Beauty, comfort, atmosphere, luxury, art, birds and lovely garden. Pool and hot tub ensure relaxation and exercise. Elias as the caretaker and contact was perfect. Plan on a few days at the Villa without traveling everyday. Would recommend seeing Poás volcano and a trip to the beach at Jaco. Both very easy in a day trip. Many very good places to eat in the town of Atenas. "

"My husband and I enjoyed our 8 nights here. Peaceful and easy to just relax. Close to everything in town but secluded perch to enjoy your time away. Of course, Piet & Yvonne are amazing, we love staying at one of their properties. Only thing I would change is having the gardeners descend on the property for 4-5 hours one morning during our stay.
