"The property is one of its kind and rated well with my expectations. The location is prominent enough with plenty of food options within and close by (within 5 min drive). The hot springs were the best part and parking was super convenient. Food was decent however, lacks variety. Morning breakfast was not the best and could have been better on both variety and quantity. Specially during the lag 30 min before closing. Restaurant staff were not that friendly and lacked energy. "We stayed at Paradise for a night before heading elsewhere. Loved their Hot Springs - especially the swim up bar. Room was huge and as nice as anything in the area within this price range. Two minor pieces of negative feedback: our shower was lukewarm at best both times we used it. We also had our towel & room key taken from our pool chair and the front desk associate gave us some attitude when we asked for a new towel new room key. Outside of that - this is a great hotel for the price range. "

"Arenal Waterfall Lounge is close to many restaurants but you need a car or uber to get to many of them. The hotel is near the waterfall and very convenient of that is something you want to see. The property was clean, the breakfast good, and as some others have mentioned it is in need of some upgrades and renovations. Overall, the stay was adequate."

"My favorite hotel on my first trip to Costa Rica! Staff was very helpful, welcoming and kind. It had a gorgeous view of Volcán Arenal! Cute deck common area with lots of lounging and games. I love how they have free breakfast and a recommendation of local food and adventure items. I would definitely stay there again! "
